Peter Brimelow (born 13 October 1947) is a British-born American writer. He is the founder of the webzine VDARE, which has been described as a white supremacist web-site and group by various publications, a charge denied by Brimelow. Brimelow was previously a writer and editor at the National Review. Brimelow founded the Center for American Unity in 1999 and served as its first president. He describes himself as a paleoconservative. Until September 2012, he was a columnist for Dow Jones' MarketWatch.
