Alix Kates Shulman (born August 17, 1932) is an American writer of fiction, memoirs, and essays, as well as one of the early radical activists of second-wave feminism. She is best known for her bestselling debut, Memoirs of an Ex-Prom Queen (Knopf, 1972), "one of the first novels to emerge from the Women's Liberation Movement" (Oxford Companion to Women's Writing).
